Uganda’s cultural legacy has long included gold mining, as evidenced by centuries-old records of customary methods. Gold was mined from rivers and alluvial deposits by artisan miners using crude techniques, incorporating the precious metal into regional economies and customs.

In the twenty-first century, Uganda’s economy now heavily depends on the gold mining industry. The government has put policies into place to enhance mining rules and draw in international investment. Global businesses have set up shop, bringing cutting edge technology and more productive mining techniques with them.

Thousands of Ugandans still rely on artisanal and small-scale mining for their livelihoods, and it continues to play a vital role. The gold industry has grown to be a substantial foreign exchange generator and GDP contributor for the nation.

Where we are coming from

Founded with an emphasis on sustainability and innovation, Uniqtradegoldbar is a major pioneer in Uganda’s mining industry, having gone a long way from its modest origins.

Our adventure started in the early 2000s when a group of driven business people realized that Uganda had undiscovered gold riches. Motivated by a dedication to moral mining methods and community uplift, we founded our initial exploration site in the Mubende district. Our goal has always been to combine cutting-edge technology with environmentally friendly methods to minimize our influence on the environment and maximize the benefits to the surrounding communities.

Growth & Expansion

As our initial ventures yielded promising results, we expanded our operations to include more exploration sites across Uganda. By investing in state-of-the-art equipment and employing a skilled workforce, we increased our production capacity and solidified our reputation for quality and reliability. Our dedication to rigorous safety standards and environmental stewardship set us apart in the industry, earning us the trust of stakeholders and the local communities we serve.
